About Us
We're open and Bark Bus is ready for pick-ups and drop-offs! We're also offering curbside pick-up for your pups (we'll come out to your car)! At Bark & Play Daycare & Suites, L.L.C. in West Burlington, IA, your dog can stay in a comfortable themed boarding suite. After playing all day in our spacious indoor and outdoor play areas, your dog will be tuckered out by the end of their stay! We provide a safe, fun environment for your dog to be more social, healthy, and maybe even lose weight. We even have a "Bark Bus" which allows us to pick-up an drop-off your pup after daycare! If you want your dog to be tuckered out when you get home after a long day, or need to board your dog, come see us! We're also excited to introduce The Bark Spa for all your dog grooming needs! From the owner: "Bark & Play began when I needed help caring for Daisy after my divorce. I worked long hours in the Cardiac Cath lab which made it difficult to find someone to walk her and let her out. I would feel horrible! Then I got a job working as a traveling X-Ray tech and I was lucky to be able to take Daisy with me. During that time, I experienced both ends of the spectrum of dog sitters--an awesome dog sitter and an awful dog sitter. Those experiences helped me to develop what we have here. I understand the nervous, afraid feeling of leaving your fur-baby somewhere, and learning to trust people. All my staff (which we call each other family) feel the same way about fur-babies. That is one of the most important things for me as an owner and a business owner. You can rest assured, knowing that we are loving your pup as much as we love our own!"

My family had to travel for the weekend for my nieces wedding and we had to board or boys for that time frame, I was very nervous to leave them because we'd never left them with anyone other than their own vet for boarding but, they seemed to have had a great time at Bark & Play and I was pleasantly surprised when I received daily report cards via email on their activities, what friends they played with, their pack leaders and how their days were going, it really put our minds at ease and made us feel so much better about leaving them somewhere unfamiliar not only to us but to them as well.
